Our Approach.

Drawing on the principles of neuroscience, neurobiology and positive psychology as well as an in-depth understanding of the Criminal Justice System and Domestic Abuse Victim support, The Believe Foundation offers a 360° inclusive approach that empowers clients from all walks of life, to move from crisis to flourishing.

Our specially trained therapists will create and track a personalised integrated wellness programme that looks to address our client's needs from the ground up.

We look at everything from nutrition to hair loss, fitness to creativity, one to one to individual groups and parenting groups, yoga, pilates and boxing, to life skills like boundary setting, mental health habits and emotional regulation. We also believe victims and survivors should have access to the help they need on practical areas that matter to their stability. We'll be holding monthly One Stop Shops on issues like housing, finances and legal matters. We'll even have a therapy garden! 'The Butterfly Sensory & Therapy Garden' will be designed with advice and support from the Dilston Physic Garden on which sensory, aromatic, medicinal and calming plants & herbs would be most beneficial for our clients.

WHERE DO OUR CLIENTS COME FROM?

Working to a multi-agency model we receive referrals from:

  • Self referrals

  • Domestic Abuse Charities

  • Local Authorities

  • The Police

  • MARAC / IDVAs

  • Criminal Justice Agencies

A 360° NETWORK OF SUPPORT

Stronger and safer communities are built on meaningful communication, trust and the belief that the support will be available when we need it most. The Believe Foundation believes that engagement and partnership with communities and community groups, the police and the wider Criminal Justice System (CJS) is critical to achieving a positive outcome for our clients. We will partner with both statutory bodies and community groups to make sure we're providing the support victims need.
